CCCS advises and assists foreign and local clientele in setting up their businesses in Sri Lanka. The Team advices the clients on the most feasible model based on the Client’s specific business purposes and other requirements while taking into consideration Foreign Exchange, Tax, Labour and related matters.

Facilitating investment
CCCS specializes in providing advisory services to Clients on all aspects of foreign and local investment, including; Board of Investment (BOI) registrations, approvals from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Tax and Labour matters, banking and finance issues, entry rules and procedures for obtaining visas and permits for employment and businesses.

CCCS attends to the preparation of notices, agendas and convenes Board and Shareholder/ Member Meetings. Two (02) lawyers from CCCS attend the Company Meetings and advice the Company on small legal and technical matters.

Amalgamations
Advising and assisting the Client with amalgamations including attending to public notice, advising on amalgamation proposals, preparing requisite resolutions and registering the amalgamation.
Due Diligence
- Company Secretarial Due Diligence
CCCS conducts corporate secretarial due diligences on companies on the status and filings of records at ROC, and attends to the regularization of matters where required.

CCCS also conducts due diligences on companies relating to all other corporate aspects including corporate status, tax, labour matters, permits and licenses and contracts/agreements.
Closures
- Winding up
CCCS advice Clients on winding up laws, insolvency and deregistration filing requirements.
- Strike off
CCCS also advises Companies on strike-off procedures including drafting of documents, filings with the Registrar of Companies and liaising with the Department of Inland Revenue.
VSSO & NGO Registrations
CCCS advices and assists Guarantee Limited Companies and other not-for-profit organisations in relation to the provisions of the Voluntary Social Service Organisations Act No. 18 of 1982 and applicable NGO laws and regulations, handles VSSO and NGO registrations, represents the Client at the relevant local authorities and government departments and attends to the subsequent filings. When necessary, CCCS also liaises with the Central Bank for foreign exchange matters of NGOs and VSSOs and with the Department of Inland Revenue in relation to NGO taxes.
Intellectual Property
CCCS specializes in advising and assisting our international and domestic clients with all aspects of their Intellectual Property portfolios in Sri Lanka. The advice provided is based on applicable statutory and case law, prevailing practice among regulators and courts as well as acceptable standards in the local business. The Company regularly acts on behalf of its clients as their IP Agent in Sri Lanka. This specialized service includes liaising with the National Intellectual Property Office of Sri Lankan (NIPO), Registering Trademarks, Trade Dress, Patents, Industrial designs, etc.
We represent many of our corporate international Clients as well as local Clients at inquiries before the Director General of NIPO on rejection of applications and have an unparalleled success rate in this regard.
